Experience Italian Tastes and Tradition at Nonno’s Pizzeria

Nanno's Pizzeria in Chino Hills CA.

Nonno’s Pizzeria’s humble beginnings started when a young Italian man named Nonno moved to the United States. His journey into the culinary world began when he worked as chief butcher on an Italian cruise ship. Having traveled for many years, he finally decided to move to New York City, and then California, where he would later create a pizza legacy.

Nonno, or “The Chief,” as most of his loyal customers in the neighborhood would call him, was loved both personally and for his wonderful tasting food and scrumptious pizza. He would go on to turn his pizza-making legacy into a family tradition.

Nonno’s Pizzeria in Chino Hills remains one of the best authentic Italian pizza restaurants for miles and miles around. Nonno passed away in 2007, but they continue to serve the family’s traditional pizza called “A PIZZ.” This iconic pizza served either in slices or as a whole pie can be “sul muzzarell” (plain cheese) or made “cca robba ncopp” (with toppings).

With decades of experience perfecting their trade, Nonno’s Pizzeria has served countless customers – both locals and travelers alike. They have expanded their menu to include sandwiches, garlic knots, salads, pizza rolls, pasta, deserts, and various drinks.

One of their best sellers is “Nonno’s Special” pizza which is topped with pepperoni, salami, sausage, olives, onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers. They have pizza toppings for everyone’s tastes. For vegetarians, they serve the “Veggie” pizza topped with fresh ingredients like mushrooms, olives and onions. Meat lovers will surely enjoy the “All Meat” pizza topped with juicy meatballs, crunchy bacon, flavorful sausage, and delicious pepperoni.

People craving lighter meals will enjoy their fresh salads like the Antipasto salad made with lettuce, mozzarella, salami, ham, provolone, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, parmigiano, and olives. Also, the Caesar salad is perfect for people who want their salad light but with a little crunch. There is something for nearly everyone at Nonno’s Pizzeria.
