Spend the day at Universal Studios theme park and its City Walk open air mall. Be sure to take the Warner Brothers Studio Tour to see infamous movie sets and backdrops that have been used in well-known movies and scenes. If you have never done so, take a hike up to the Hollywood Sign and get spectacular views of downtown and the surrounding area. If you are into celebrities, then a visit to the Chinese Theater is in order.

Rodeo Drive offers high end shops with top-of-the-line name brands. Symphony goers will be able to take in a show at the Los Angeles Philharmonic which is housed in the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The venue is an architectural marvel in and of itself. The Getty Museum in Los Angeles offers lectures, tours, courses, exhibits and other events for those interested in the visual arts.
